The push for woman’s suffrage was at an important turning point when the historic March 3, 1913 Woman’s Suffrage Procession stepped off down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC.
Preparing to celebrate the “Suffrage Parade’s” centennial has been a challenge and an honor for every organization and destination listed inside. We’ve worked hard together toward this moment—our chance to let you choose what you’ll experience and remember from this key moment in women’s history—the day one hundred years ago when a suffrage parade made history, not just in Washington, DC, but across the nation and around the world.
