Author Discusses the Power of the Suffrage Movement 100 Years Later!

March into history as Robert P. J. Cooney Jr., author of Winning the Vote: The Triumph of the American Woman Suffrage Movement, discusses the 100-year anniversary of the historic Woman Suffrage Procession in the nation’s capital. Cooney will also explain how the colorful demonstration turned national attention to the 19th Amendment and led to the law’s passage seven years later. A Q&A and book signing will follow.
